Susie Isaacs' Poker History

Susie Isaacs began playing poker with her male cousins while growing up in Tennessee. She started playing poker games once she lived in Atlanta until she had built up a large enough bankroll to take her to Las Vegas. It took Susie three trips until she finally worked up the nerve to play at a poker table in Las Vegas. At that time Isaacs was a social player, playing in low-stakes poker games for fun and competition. However, once her husband and herself split, she could no longer afford to play poker for fun and became a serious student of the game of poker. Susie went to poker seminars, spent a few months taking poker lessons from a professional poker coach, and studied poker books.

Susie played a crucial part in helping start the poker magazine Card Player. Isaacs sold advertisements for the first issues of Card Player, and wrote an interesting column for the poker magazine. The column was titled "Chip Chatter" and was extremely entertaining and was the most sought after part of the poker magazine. Over her many years of writing poker articles, Susie has authored more than 300 articles about poker, poker players and card games including articles for "Poker Digest". Susie Isaacs ranks seventeenth on the All Time Women's Money List. Susie has won two World Series of Poker bracelets.

You can play with all kinds of celebrity female poker players and poker pros at Hollywood Poker.
