Mercier's Poker History
Isabelle
"No Mercy" Mercier, was born in Quebec, Canada
in 1975. Isabelle has a law degree and a master's
degree in international law. At the age of 21
she started working as a blackjack dealer in Montreal.
Mercier later worked as a poker dealer at the
Aviation Club and then took care of foreign players,
communication, publicity, and other office duties
at the club. Mercier is writing a poker book with
Gus Hansen and Paul Magriel which focuses on big
buy-in, no-limit tournament strategy.
Isabelle Mercier has become
a force in European poker as well as women's poker.
Isabelle was 33rd in the European Poker Tour All
Time Money List, 10th in the Women's All Time
Money List, has 1 WPT Championship Title, and
1 EPT Finals victory. The WPT Championship was
for her victory at the No Limit Hold'em WPT Ladies
Night Out II Event, and her EPT victory was at
the European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo.
Also, Isabelle has won a
poker championship event at Turning Stone in New
York, and finished 2nd at an EPT event in Holland.
Mercier enjoys listening to music, reading and
watching movies.
