Courtney Friel has just picked up the torch from the previous WPT hostess Shana Hiatt, who left after three years at the post. Courtney is a beautiful blonde who holds a BA in Political Science and a Minor in Broadcast Journalism from San Diego State University. She was born April 22nd 1980 in Philadelphia, PA. Though she won't be playing in the events, she will be the voice and face of them and that's enough for us to include her as one of the female poker star's.

Although Shana really made the position her own during her stay with the WPT, Courtney seems to be settling in nicely and recognizes the big shoes she has to fill. With all of her background, and her positive attitude, we think Courtney is ready for Season Four of the World Poker Tour!
