TV�s King of Vegas, Wayne Allen Root, co-hosts the episode
and talks about the Plaza Hotel and Casino�s role in
King of Vegas. There is also a new table at casinos,
World Poker Tour�s All-In Hold�em or WPT All-In Hold�em.
It is played just like texas hold�em, but it is you
heads up with the dealer. It�s great for poker professionals
and poker novices as the dealer has a prescribed set
of rules. The key to WPT All-In Hold�em is the bonus
bets that have 50 to 1 odds. The Wynn casino in Las
Vegas, owned by Steve Wynn, opened April 28, 2005 and
cost $2.7 billion to develop. The poker room has 27
tables and has hired Daniel Negreanu as its poker ambassador
and liaison. Negreanu has put up a challenge to any
poker player in the world: Any game, any stakes. There
are two stipulations however; first, the game must be
played at the Wynn and second Daniel can end the game
at any time if he is losing big. Also, to compete with
the Wynn, Bellagio and MGM have both upgraded their
poker rooms. Lastly, Chris �Jesus� Ferguson speaks about
online poker players winning at the WSOP.

players. Daniel Negreanu gives his tips for a better
poker lifestyle. He suggests playing both tournaments
and cash games to keep your poker skills up, and to
play poker tournaments as a treat.

a disgrace since it seems to portray professional poker
players as cheaters and colluders. Daniel Negreanu explains

million at the World Poker Tour. Mimi Rogers, James
Woods, Jennifer Tilly are all at the Hollywood Poker

The World Poker Tour
boot camp has been introduced and there is some great
information about the WPT boot camp at the official
website. Also, the Great Canadian Poker tournament has
began accepting applicants and will shortly crown the
Great Canadian Poker Champion. Recently, Chris Moneymaker
has signed with the World Poker Showdown cruise. I think
it�s about time for another poker movie and Drew Barrymore
and Eric Bana agree. These two famous movie stars will
star in the new poker film �Lucky You� which has begun
filming. Spike TV has started a poker television show
to help stop rival rap gangs. The television show, called
�Bring it to the Table�, brings rival rap gangs (ie.
East Coast versus West Coast) to the poker table to
play against each other. The rappers will bring in some
bling as the pot. Lastly, the WPT Atlantis poker tournament
has finished and notable poker players that were attending
include Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Barry Greenstein
and Daniel Negreanu.

The five-day tournament in Las Vegas attracted some
of poker�s finest including Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan and
Chris Ferguson competing for the $5.5 million in prizes.
The poker champ also explains the flaws of borrowing
money from friends for gambling. The episode also features
the latest in poker news. Online poker champion Kathy
Liebert explains what it was like to win the Party Poker
tournament and discusses what the next tournament will
have in store. The proper way to buy chips is something
that can dramatically affect the outcome of a poker
match and Mike Caro explains the proper way to buy chips.

This episode takes
a look into the legal elements of online poker and the
efforts being made by the federal government to ban
it. Anthony Cabot, Internet Gaming Attorney breaks down
the arguments for banning online poker. He also encourages
people to fight the work of Rep. Bob Goodlatte and Sen.
John Kyle, the two main politicians spearheading the
ban. Author Mike Caro and online poker spokesperson
Annie Duke offers their outlook on the situation. They
say that online poker will continue offshore even with
legislation and the government could be making a lot
of money with tax revenues if online gambling was regulated.
Out of the 134 players in the PPT tournament at Foxwoods,
only six made it to the final table. Chris Bigler, Ron
Rhodes, Jennifer Harman, Dan Harrington are some of
the finalists. It was also announced during the episode
the World Series of Poker will have some of their earlier
events for this year�s tournament in Atlantic city,
the final phases of the tournament will still be hosted
in Los Vegas. Another MARGE tournament was held, the

charities. Poker-great Daniel Negreanu talks about the
importance of watching how much you drink while playing
poker and explains how it can affect your game. Negreanu
was one of the many great players to speak at the forth
annual World Poker Conference, co-coordinator for the
event Linda Johnson says that both expert players and
beginners can take something away from the event.

The first episode
of the series begins by talking to poker great Howard
Lederer about an event he is working on that offers
poker advice and playing time with pros like himself.
Fans attend seminars and can sit at a table with players
such as Chris Ferguson and Greg Gordon. After the games
the pros will offer advice for their opponents on how
to better their game. Annie Duke talks about her recent
interview that received a lot of criticism from the
poker world. During the previous interview Duke was
upset she was playing with inexperienced players whose
lack of technique throw her game off. Duke says she
regrets what was said and she hopes her comments will
not keep beginner poker players from playing, Duke added
she was really tired from the all weekend tournament.
Erin Ness talks about her recent success in the World
Poker Series. The Maxim photography assisted won $10,000
in the tournament and has received all kinds of compliments.
Ness hopes that her win will inspire women to play the
game and to participate in tournaments, she plans to
keep playing.
