| Born
in Honolulu, Lauren Graham and her father moved
to Washington D.C. when she was five, where she
discovered acting very early on. She earned a
degree in English from New York’s Barnard
College before relocating to Texas, where she
went on to get her Master’s degree in acting.
In 1995 she moved to Hollywood where she starred
in a few television pilots before she found her
role on the Gilmore Girls, the one that has garnered
her the most recognition so far.
An avid poker player, Lauren
successfully won game four of the Celebrity Poker
Showdown, and went on to take second place in
the final tournament. Not bad!
