Najimy has had a long and very rewarding career.
At the moment she stars as the voice of Peggy
Hill on Fox’s Emmy award-winning King of
the Hill, and has won awards for her roles on
Veronica’s Closet, Sister Act (and was nominated
for another award for Sister Act II), and the
Kathy and Mo Show with Mo Gaffney (who also appeared
on Celebrity Poker Showdown). As well, she’s
appeared in the Vagina Monologues alongside Susan
Sarandon and Sharon Stone, Hocus Pocus with Bette
Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker, the Fisher King
with Barbara Streisand and Hope Floats with Sandra
Bullock. Audiences simply love her, and she has
become one of the most highly-demanded actresses
in Hollywood.
At the Celebrity Showdown,
Kathy unfortunately didn’t win for her charity,
but she had a great time and was easily one of
the most entertaining players at the table.
