last few years have been wonderful for Camryn
Manheim. She has played Ellenor Frutt on the Emmy
Awars winning drama "The Practice". Camryn has
won an Emmy Award in 1998 for Best Supporting
Actress in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe Award
in 1999 for the role of Ellenor Frutt. Manheim
was named one of People Magazine's "Most Intriguing
People of the Year", Glamour Magazine's "Women
of the Year", and one of the "Most Fascinating
Women of the Year" by Ladies Home Journal. Manheim
made her producing debut with "Kiss My Act!",
an ABC movie of the week. Camryn is now involved
in a new challenge as she teams up with Marlee
Matlin and Showtime, producing and staring in
"Sound and Fury". She will also produce and star
in a feature film "The Extra", which is currently
in development.
Camryn Manheim played poker
on Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown. Camryn played
in Tournament 5 Game 4 and was the last poker
player at the table to be defeated. Manheim forced
fellow Celebrity Poker Showdown poker player Colin
Quinn all-in, but Colin had the stronger poker
hand and advanced to the Celebrity Poker Showdown
Finals.
